Dear Sir/Madam,

In order to use Bartees Strange's song "Heavy Heart" in my A-level course on media and copyright issues, I must get your permission.

I guarantee you that utilising this music would only be for educational purposes and not for any financial advantage. As an A-level student, I recognise the value of getting permission before using copyrighted content.

I choose "Heavy Heart" because it is a strong, emotionally charged song that would provide a wonderful illustration of how music can be used creatively in media. I think it would give me and my students a worthwhile learning opportunity.

I am aware that 4AD is the record company that manages the rights of Bartees Strange's songs and represents him. I would appreciate it if you could give me the required permissions or direct me in the direction of the right person to ask for approval.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this and considering it. I eagerly await your response.

Yours sincerly ,

Mohamed Warsame
